Maumelle, Pulaski County
Located at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Lily Drive in Maumelle, this very small cemetery is enclosed by a fence with a locked gate. The cemetery, formerly the family burying ground for the Pyeatte family, contains ten marked graves in what used to be the Crystal Hill community. The cemetery was placed on the National Register in 1996.
Although the application for nomination to the National Register states that the square and rectangular rock gravestones are carved, we were unable to verify this due to the locked gate, which prevents access to the stones. Given the number of known burials in this publicly owned cemetery, it is possible that the locked gate is a violation of state law with regard to access to cemeteries.
